Surgical Procedures

Below you will find a brief description of the procedures that we offer. Each procedure provides you with a direct link to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. There you will find a complete description of the procedure you are interested in, including pre-surgery preparation, what to expect post surgery, possible risks, etc. Our goal is to give you the most comprehensive information to assist in your education before you meet with Dr. Norris. This will allow you to compile a list of questions that you may have for him at the time of your appointment.

Breast Reduction - also called reduction mammaplasty, a procedure that removes excess breast tissue and skin, making the breast proportional to the body. This procedure provides significant relief from physical discomforts of backaches, shoulder pain, and neck pain, while giving the ability to wear a greater variety of clothing styles and gain positive self-image.

Breast Enlargement - also called augmentation mammaplasty, utilizes implants to enlarge and shape the breasts. This provides positive self-image for those who may be bothered by small breast size or have lost size and shape due to weight loss, breast-feeding, one breast noticeably smaller than the other, or prior surgeries. We offer both saline and silicone implants which are part of the Naturelle™ Collection

Mastopexy - Breastlift, or mastopexy, is a surgical procedure to raise and reshape sagging breasts--at least, for a time. (No surgery can permanently delay the effects of gravity.) Mastopexy can also reduce the size of the areola, the darker skin surrounding the nipple. If your breasts are small or have lost volume--for example, after pregnancy--breast implants inserted in conjunction with mastopexy can increase both their firmness and their size.

Breast Reconstruction - Reconstruction of a breast that has been removed due to cancer or other disease is one of the most rewarding surgical procedures available today. New medical techniques and devices have made it possible for surgeons to create a breast that can come close in form and appearance to matching a natural breast.

Tummy Tuck - also called abdominoplasty, corrects a protruding or loose, sagging abdomen due to heredity, significant weight fluctuations, or congenital spine abnormalities affecting posture. The procedure is also indicated for those with a weakening or separation of the abdominal muscles due to multiple pregnancies. Self-image is greatly enhanced by a flat, tighter abdomen, allowing for enhancement of core posture.

Liposuction - also called lipoplasty is recommended for men and women of normal weight who simply want to improve body contour. Results are an elimination of fat deposits giving way to a smoother contour of the area treated. Liposuction can be performed to the following areas: cheeks, chin, neck, upper arms, back, breast, abdomen, waist, hips, buttocks, thighs, inner knees, calves, and ankles.

Eyelid Rejuvenation - also called blepharoplasty, the removal of drooping skin or excess fat of the upper eyelid that hide the natural fold. The lower eyelid procedure minimizes puffy ‘bags’ under the eye and dark circles. Upper and lower lid surgery results in a more alert and rested appearance.

Browlift - A forehead lift or "browlift" is a procedure that restores a more youthful, refreshed look to the area above the eyes. The procedure corrects drooping brows and improves the horizontal lines and furrows that can make a person appear angry, sad or tired

Face Lift - also called rhytidectomy is a procedure that will smooth loose skin on your face and neck, tightens underlying tissues and removes excess fat deposits. Men and women benefit from a face lift if there are deep lines that run from the corner of the mouth to the nose, loss of a well-defined jaw line, deep wrinkles or folds appear in the cheek or outer eye area, or sagging skin around the neck. The results are a firmer and fresher appearance looking as good as you feel..

Body Contouring After Weight Loss - through diet or Bariatric surgery, patients lose large amounts of weight only to find they have loose folds of skin on the abdomen, thighs, arms, and breasts. Removal of these unsightly tissues helps ‘complete’ the weight loss process.
